Good things need to be preserved – this is achieved by developing them further. Brugger was established in 1860 when Otto Brugger started producing special devices for the Munich Observatory and ruling machines for Germany and the USA. One hundred years later, his descendants, who have traditionally passed down the name of Otto, produced the first sealing devices and subsequently steam and gas permeability testing devices. In cooperation with renowned organisations such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging, the family company, which has been called Brugger Feinmechanik GmbH since 1985, has made a name for itself around the world in the field of film testing devices. Over the decades, a wide range of testing devices have been developed with commitment and expertise which are used internationally for quality control and in R&D. Today, Otto Brugger and his daughter Petra manage the company which has stood for reliability and quality for 150 years. A company made to last.
